The display uses a high-contrast LCD that stays readable in direct sun, and the keypad gives enough tactile feedback for use with gloves. Internally, memory holds tens of thousands of time-stamped records—enough for months of daily readings on a medium-sized dam monitoring project. When it's time to offload data, a USB port lets you pull CSV files without proprietary software. Battery life is paced for a full working day, and the unit gives clear low-battery warnings rather than sudden shutdowns. Since Kingmach manufactures the sensors as well, we can pre-configure calibration coefficients for your specific instruments, so the unit shows engineering units directly.
